SUMMER SOLSTICE ALL-NIGHT GONG PUJA w/ rhyannon styles
A Night of Sonic Healing
SATURDAY / 21/06/25 / 9:00 PM–SUNDAY / 22/06/25 / 6:00 AM
Rest in gongs at our ALL-NIGHT GONG PUJA as we guide you through the Summer Solstice night with gongs' remarkable healing potential and restorative benefits. Gong Puja is an unforgettable sonic experience where different symphonic, wind, and planetary gongs will be played steady and moderately throughout the night for 7,5 hours (equivalent to 10 x 45 min back-to-back gong baths), a complete sound journey for shifting blockages and bringing in powerful healing, allowing you to drift into a conscious sleep.
A transformational sound ceremony which MARTIN BALANCE and RHYANNON STYLES, both cert. experienced gong sound facilitators are delighted to host for the second time at SHA-LA XBERG STUDIOS. Celebrating the Summer Solstice, honouring the light and the beginning of the astrological summer—a magical time to bring in intentions. We will commence with an opening solstice ceremony and meditation followed by a continuous symphony of gongs throughout the night. You will then awaken at sunrise to the silence accompanied by the sounds of delicate instruments.

-
The intention of participating should come from the person in question. Our recommendation is a minimum of 18 years or older.
-
Please make sure you attended at least one gong sound bath beforehand.
-
It is a personal choice but we recommend that you make yourself as comfortable as possible. A foam-fold out, self-inflating mattress, or a tatami would be ideal as it doesn't make any noise when you move.
-
Comfortable, warm clothes, a sleeping bag or bedding, blankets or airbeds, cushions, eye mask, and quiet water bottle to feel comfortable through the night.
-
Some people will be able to sleep from beginning to end; some will enter a state of deep restorative sleep only for parts of the night and alternate between delta and theta waves. Either way, you will undoubtedly drift in and out of a sleep trance cocoon and leave the space rejuvenated.
-
Please do not consume alcohol, drugs or too much caffeine before attending the gong night. No food is allowed during the night. Herbal teas and water will be available through the night, and fruit snacks in the morning.
-
Absolutely! You are free to get up, use the restroom, meditate next to the gongs, or take a break. The essential part is to preserve the silence in the ceremony room so that everyone can remain in total rest.
-
Someone will always be awake and holding the space if you need any assistance.
